Temp-to-Hire When no other solution appears viable, Temp to Hire is always an option. Hire Standard Staffing prides itself on the quality of our Contract Employees. Nationally, only 5% of contract employees are hired as permanent employees. Our numbers are closer to 180 degrees away from that national norm. Since we don't look for "Career Temps" to just fill orders. Our skilled knowledge workers prove their worth on the job. And they get the float by asking to be billed the DAY AFTER their billing cycle ends. So instead of net 30 days... they get an EXTRA 25 DAYS before the bill is even sent to them by their CC company.
Many of our clients prefer to use their corporate AMEX, VISA or MASTERCARD accounts to streamline the billing process. All credit card invoices still carry appropriate hard copy documentation (timesheets, etc.) to facilitate record keeping.

When we opened in 1989 in Washington, DC as a local, woman-owned business, activities were limited to PERMANENT placement of support staff. The lines between Permanent and Temporary functions were clear. And our focus was narrow. Then the job market changed. Some jobs require tangible skills testing. Our skills testing software, Pre•Valuate, is the best on the market. (How do we know? During our evaluation process, our President — at that time a complete computer novice — took the tests herself. She scored 80% competancy on the leading industry skills testing software — without any experience!!! Needless to say, Pre•Valuate software DID NOT pass her with flying colors — which met our higher standards for evaluation testing.)

But skills testing is only part of the story. Our staffing professionals have background and experience in a variety of other business environments. We can find and assess qualified professionals in a variety of business environments.
